Artificial Intelligence is the rage these days, and I've written this science fantasy novel about advanced robots in which people's real personalities (not simulations) are installed, permitting them to live beyond their biological years. The book includes biology, String Theory, psychology, engineering, chemistry, and (of course) computer science. Much of this science is documented and/or speculated by distinguished scientists, with references. There's a villain trying to become the Emperor of the world and heroes trying to stop him. A dying American, with the help of an orphaned street kid in New Delhi, creates a new form of government to flatten the economic disparity between rich and poor, and to save the world from climate disasters. All of this science and analyses require A.I. to handle the 3-D nature of the complicated interactions. And, since I know what you like to read, there's also sex and violence. What will A.I. mean for our future? |
